A corporate drop-out, living a wonderful life, and trying to improve this world!
I am officially a cliche! Maybe I should have joined the Peace Corp right out of college? But I didn't. I worked, obtained an MBA, established a successful addition to my family's business in Atlanta, GA, and THEN, only THEN, decided to seek a more meaningful path.
My entire family loves animals, and I have always been philanthropic, but moving to the Peruvian rainforest region surprised many people. I love living in this exotic and remote Jungle outpost, surrounded by water, with no access except by air or a slow boat journey. Life is peaceful and has meaning, not that one has to move halfway around the world to achieve that!!
I hope to see you soon as a new friend, a volunteer, a visiting Veterinarian and, of course, all the friends and family that I think of regularly. You are welcome to one of the last pristine areas of this world.
Amazon c.a.r.e.s. is a tiny, grassroots organization. Prior to Amazon c.a.r.e.s., no organization took care of the countless very sick stray DOMESTIC animals in the Peruvian rainforest region. Not only are we helping animals, we are helping people as well. Our services improve the environment, prevent the spread of zoonatic decisions, and teach important lessons of love & compassion.
